About the Role:
A new opportunity has become available for a Branch Manager to join our dynamic team.

As a Branch Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the branch, ensuring Forex Consultants process transactions accurately and professionally. You will manage safes, monitor cash flow, resolve customer and staff issues, and uphold Mukuru’s commitment to efficiency and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage overall branch operations to ensure smooth daily functioning.
  • Open and close the branch securely while ensuring all security measures are in place.
  • Oversee safes and control incoming and outgoing money to maintain security and compliance.
  • Issue additional stock to consultants as required throughout the day.
  • Monitor and liaise with security providers to ensure safe handling of cash stock.
  • Resolve customer queries and complaints professionally and in a timely manner.
  • Provide guidance and training to Forex Consultants and Mukuru Ambassadors.
  • Assist customers by issuing bank statements, processing foreign exchange transactions, and providing remittance support.
  • Maintain knowledge of foreign exchange regulations, ensuring compliance with relevant policies.
  • Conduct performance management functions to ensure an effective and high-performing team.
  • Attend training sessions and continuously develop knowledge of company products and services.

    Requirements:

    • Experience: Minimum 3 years as a Forex Consultant (Essential).
    • Education: Grade 12 / equivalent (Essential).
    • Understanding and speaking of a relevant language such as Zimbabwean or Malawian (Essential).
    • Knowledge of foreign exchange, exchange control regulations, FICA, money laundering, and Reserve Bank regulations.
